"About Faces" Facial Differences Support Group
"About Faces" is a support group for people with any type of facial injury from incidents including auto accidents, shotgun blasts, birth defects, surgical results, etc. This group deals primarily with the psychological effects of facial differences. Family and friends, as well as the facially different persons themselves, are invited to attend.
Elisabeth Knaack is the facilitator of the "About Faces" support group and is there to support others like herself. There also is a psychologist, Calvin Langmade, attending the group each month.
- Where: The group meets in the medical library in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Froedtert Hospital.
- When: the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
